The one thing I had to see in Vegas was the Fountains Bellagio. The pool is about waist deep and the fountain nozzles extend to the surface for the show (every fifteen minutes). The fountains are computer controlled and coreographed with different pieces of music from country to classical. The smaller fountains have heads that can swivel in any direction while the largest fire the water so hard they sound like artillery.
There was a Monet exhibit at the Bellagio. Monet frequently painted the same scene from the same viewpoint repeatedly at different times of the day. So, panoramas of the Vegas strip as seen from the air conditioned comfort of my hotel room, at sunset and during the night:
